Students Ministry

Middle and High School students are welcome! We meet each week at 7pm. We participate in a number of activities throughout the year including movie nights, pizza parties, sleepovers, and much more. There is also opportunity for being a part of our drama ministry team that practices each week!
B.O.L.D. is the name of the youth group, and depicts this generation perfectly. Believe Out loud, Live Defiantly = B.O.L.D. is the youth group of Foothills Worship Center in Seymour, TN. This is the “Unstoppable Generation” who says be BOLD in your life, be BOLD in your faith, be BOLD in your relationships/friendships. Take a stand, and never give up. Hebrews 13:6 tells us “So we may boldly say, God is there, ready to help; I'm fearless (bold) no matter what. Who or what can overtake me?”

Youth Pastors:
Eric & Lucy Carbaugh
Eric and Lucy come to us from Florida, and have been eager to get involved where the Lord would lead! Lucy orginally from the Dominican Republic learned to the love for God at an early age, and brings that passion to the youth. She has been in youth ministry, and drama ministry, and served as teacher for many years. Eric is the son of a Pastor, and learned early on the dedication that is needed to serve in ministry. Being called to minister at the age of 15 he knew life wouldn't be the same again. Then at 17 a week before his father passed he was able to let his father know the blessing of his legacy would continue. Eric has served as youth leader, elder, and associate pastor over the years since leaving the Marines. He brings with him the conitnued experience he learned over those years. Walking a path that some would ask "why, are you still trying?", he knew that the Lord is the one who guides his steps.
Both Lucy and Eric just want their lives to be summed up with one word "Obedience". They stive to be a family after God's own heart, and understand they make mistakes like the rest of us. They also know it's how we handle those mistakes is what makes us different. They believe there's a call on the youth of this world, and that the enemy what to control them, and only through a hope in Him can any of us exceed in the His ways.
